Undertook a thrilling personal project driven by the challenge of building a character entirely from scratch (Luffy from One Piece). The roadmap to achieve the desired output was as follows:

Build:
1. Blender
- Initiated the process by sculpting to create a custom face model for the character "Luffy."

2. Unreal and MetaHuman Creator
- Developed the character's body model, rig, and base textures.

3. Houdini
- Modified the facial features of the model to closely resemble the reference character, Luffy.
- Modified the textures to match the reference character.
- Created various props such as Hat, Costume, Hair, Eyebrows, and Eyelashes.
- Conducted Look Dev using MaterialX & Karma.

Performance and Shot Finalizing:
1. Unreal
- Added facial Animation using Live Link(ARKit) in Unreal.

2. Houdini
- Utilized kineFX to introduce facial animation and incorporated body animation from Mixamo's animation library.
- Added Hat vellum simulation.
- Rendered the scene using Solaris and USD workflow.

3. Nuke
- Executed a basic comp for presentation purposes.

The primary objective of this project was to understand and implement the correct workflow for integrating outputs from different departments within the USD pipeline. This consideration was made with the awareness that the final result would be utilized across multiple shots.
